Life’s funny twists inspired my latest, fourth book, Gerty’s Way, published in August, 2024. It features an adventurous, young-at-heart woman who explores the ways she has fared with life’s ups and downs. I have created many Gerty drawings over time and I selected some for this book to illustrate my haikus and other poetry. Gerty adds her comments, too, on the drawings. I hope this work will resonate with all those who have reached an introspective point in their lives.
