Not that my case is unique, but during these long, draining months of Pandemically-Paused Life, I find solace and relief whenever I doodle or hone a Gerty drawing. Today I looked through my collection of drawings and found some to share. Each one addresses Gerty’s reaction to or choice concerning COVID-19 in her idiosyncratic way.

Gerty is slimming down and has embraced a more active life. Is she reflecting my enthusiasm for frequent early morning walks along the shores of our magnificent Lake Michigan? Could be.
Susan, I’m not asking you to edit this piece. I’m recommending it as it is written. I would just need you to choose which two images you want to include, or to combine the four separate images into two composite images.
I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by “edit the rice.”

Rice is typo. Will do.

Please send me your email address. I can’t figure out why via the FB Comments I can’t transmit the images along with the text. I’d like to send you the piece as an attachment.

Please just share the link on the Week 33 prompt post, pinned to the top of the WE PAW group page. I can handle the images from there.

Susan, if you intend to be included in this week’s ezine publication, you will need to share your link in the prompt on the group page. The deadline is midnight, Monday, 09 November 2020.

I don’t have a chance to meet the deadline but would like the opportunity to edit the rice and submit. What would you suggest?

You should share this in the WE PAW Bloggers ezine prompt, “Write to Cope” for week 32 –– only thing is, you will have to choose just two images to include with your section of the ezine issue.
The ezine prompt is the pinned post on the FB group feed.

As does Gerty, take a deep breath, smile, and move smartly on. And don’t forget your mask!
